Who We Are

Brentwood Montessori is dedicated to providing an innovative learning program based on the Montessori approach. We offer programs for children between the ages of 30 months to 5 years old.

What is Montessori?
Montessori is an educational approach developed by Italian Physician and Educator Maria Montessori in 1906. This method is characterized by an emphasis on independence, freedom within limits and respect for the child's natural psychological development. Children at liberty to choose and act freely in a prepared environment, act spontaneously for optimal development.

Brentwood Montessori's curriculum is child directed. We build our teaching blocks on children's ideas. We view children as protagonists, collaborators and communicators. We as teachers observe, represent, document and revisit children's experiences. We are partners, co-learners, researchers and nurturers.
